Bengaluru: The Karnataka Youth Congress, led by H. S. Manjunath Gowda, staged a protest at Freedom Park against the steep hike in commercial LPG cylinder prices by the central government, displaying empty cylinders.
Gowda criticized Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje and BJP MP Tejasvi Surya for remaining silent, stating the price hike would hit small traders and hoteliers hard and lead to increased food costs. He said the Youth Congress would continue protests across the state.
