Karnataka state deputy Chiefs Minister D. K. Shivakumar said at a recent “Future of Work” summit in Bengaluru: “AI may cut 50 percent of jobs in Bengaluru and different parts of the country.” He described it as a major challenge due to the rapid rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This doesn’t mean 50% of people will suddenly lose jobs.
